Sebastien Dignard, President of FRAMOS Technologies, has been announced as a 2017 Forty Under 40 recipient, one of Ottawa’s most prestigious business awards recognizing accomplished and rising business leaders under the age of 40.
The Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal announced Sebastien Dignard, President of FRAMOS Technologies as a 2017 Forty Under 40 recipient, one of Ottawa’s most prestigious business awards recognizing accomplished and rising business leaders under the age of 40.
As President of FRAMOS Technologies Inc based in Ottawa and Global Head of Sales, and Marketing of the FRAMOS Group based in Munich; companies specialized in Imaging and Vision solutions that range from sensor to systems, Sebastien is responsible for growing all aspects of FRAMOS’ business. Sebastien and his global team succeeded in achieving tremendous growth and market penetration in the global vision market while his team in Ottawa built up the FRAMOS North American entity from the very beginning in 2013. The 2017 “Forty under 40” awards yet again saw an impressive number of people engaged in the nomination process. More than 200 applications were submitted, making the selection process even more gruelling for a panel of seven independent judges assessing on a 40-point system.
“The level of talent in Ottawa is second to none, as these awards once again demonstrate,” said Chamber of Commerce president and CEO Ian Faris. “The entrepreneurial spirit of this year’s recipients is sure to pay major dividends for our region in terms of continued economic growth and prosperity.” OBJ publisher Michael Curran adds: “I think it’s fair to say this might have been the toughest competition we’ve seen in two decades. On June 16, the recipients will be celebrated at a gala at the Hilton Lac-Leamy. The Forty Under 40 awards are co-hosted by the Ottawa Chamber of Commerce and the Ottawa Business Journal. A special edition of the Ottawa Business Journal will feature the 2017 recipients.
