FRAMOS image processing solutions at the Laser 2015
Ensuring quality and monitoring production in photonics
FRAMOS will showcase its innovative portfolio of image processing components and system solutions for measurement and testing technology, automotive engineering, optics, medical technology and electronics at LASER 2015, the leading international trade fair for the photonics sector, which would be held in Munich, 22-25 June.
One highlight in our portfolio will be light-source alternatives to lasers. The new and improved EFFI-Lase 2.0 LED pattern projectors from Effilux are now 20 times more powerful than their predecessor and require no laser protection class, meaning that they are not subject to strict laser safety provisions. The EFFI-Lase series can project lines, grids, point clouds, circles or crosses, making it suitable for 3D triangulation, positioning and stereo vision. Particularly impressive are their high resolution and long service life, as well as their ability to project all wavelengths and eliminate light spots, known as speckles.
FRAMOS will also present the Giganetix series of cameras from SMARTEK Vision, which are compatible with GigE Vision. Visitors will be treated to a wide range of products for automating production, packaging and QA systems to boost efficiency. The cameras are available in 17 different sensor variants and boast a variety of trigger functions, high EMC stability, power over Ethernet and outstanding image and processing quality. The Giganetix series comes in two case variants as well as a board-level version.
For high-speed applications, visitors to the FRAMOS stand will be able to see the HS-2000 high-speed camera from Emergent Vision in action. As the smallest variant of the Emergent HS series, the HS-2000 sets new benchmarks for performance, with 338 fps and 2.2 megapixels, along with its 10GigE interface and CMOSIS CMV2000 Global Shutter Sensor. The 10GigE interface is compatible with both GenlCam and GigE Vision, and can also use an SFP+ glass fibre connection for larger cable lengths. The 35 mm F-Mount allows the use of a range of lenses, and makes the HS-2000 a flexible tool to meet the rigorous demands of industrial image processing applications.
Another FRAMOS product on display at LASER is the new Euresys Coaxlink Quad G3, the fourth product in the Coaxlink series. It is the first CoaXPress frame grabber with a PCI 3.0 (gen 3) interface, ensuring reliable data rates of over 3 GB per second. With its new CoaXPress certification, the entire Coaxlink series is perfect for applications requiring high data transfer volumes, high frame rates and real-time transfers, together with long cable lengths and high cable flexibility.
The FRAMOS team of image processing experts will present their range of components and solutions in hall A2, stand 201, and will provide extensive support in both selecting products and configuring applications for industry-specific challenges.
